Job summary
Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, NJ is seeking a Registered Nurse to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to treat patients with injuries and illnesses. You will monitor patients, administer medications, educate families, and maintain detailed health records in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
The ideal candidate holds an accredited nursing degree, RN licensure, and BLS certification, with preference given to candidates with BSN, BSN within five years for ASN
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- BLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports.
- Administers medications to patients and monitors them for side effects and reactions.
- Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments.
- Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
- Assesses, implements, plans, or evaluates patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members.
- Records patient vital signs and medical information.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
