Job summary

The Valley Health System's Centennial Hills Hospital Medical Center in Nevada is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide safe, competent patient care and to lead the healthcare team in alignment with facility policies and patient-centered care principles.

You will oversee staff, uphold Service Excellence standards, and support ongoing clinical excellence within a UHS-running system. Nevada RN license, BLS, ACLS, and optional PALS/NRP are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and completion of a specialty course or equivalent.
• BSN preferred.
• One year acute care experience or completion of an approved specialty course.
• Current RN license in the State of Nevada.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification (Adult patients).
• Current PALS certification (Pediatric patients) or current NRP certification (Neonatal patients) as required by department.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care.
• Oversees and guides employees that are under his/her supervision.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
