Job summary

The Valley Health System is seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide safe and compassionate patient care at Centennial Hills Hospital Medical Center in Henderson, NV. You will lead care teams, uphold nursing standards, and participate in department initiatives within a respected hospital system.

Qualified candidates hold a Nevada RN license, BLS, and ACLS/NRP as required, with BSN preferred and acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and completion of a Specialty course or equivalent within 6 months of hire.
• BSN preferred.
• One-year acute care experience or successful completion of an approved specialty course within 6 months of hire.
• Current RN license in the State of Nevada; BLS Certification; ACLS Certification (adult) or NRP Certification (pediatric) as required by department.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies and standards.
• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team and demonstrates Service Excellence at all times.
• Oversees and guides employees under his/her supervision.
• Maintains patient-centered care and compliance with hospital philosophy and practices.

Education
