Job summary

The Valley Health System is seeking a registered nurse for Centennial Hills Hospital Medical Center in Nevada. The role focuses on safe, patient-centered nursing care with leadership responsibilities and adherence to service excellence standards.

Requirements include an RN license in Nevada, BLS, ACLS, and PALS or NRP as required by department. BSN preferred and at least one year of acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and completion of a Specialty course/or equivalent.
• BSN preferred.
• One year acute care experience or successful completion of an approved specialty course.
• Current RN license in the State of Nevada. Current BLS certification. Current ACLS certification (Adult patients). Current PALS certification (Pediatric patients) or current NRP certification (Neonatal patients) as required by department. Other certifications as may be required by facility, specialty or department.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care.
• Oversees and guides employees that are under his/her supervision.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
