Job summary

Centennial Hills Hospital Medical Center, part of The Valley Health System, is seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide safe and competent care in an acute care setting. You will lead and support the healthcare team while upholding patient-centered care and service excellence.

Requirements include Nevada RN licensure, BLS, and possibly PALS/NRP as required by department; BSN preferred. On-site role with opportunities for professional development and excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• One year full time or three years part time experience in acute care setting preferred.
• Current RN license in the State of Nevada.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Current PALS Certification (pediatric patients) or current NRP Certification (Neonatal patients) as required by department.
• Other certification as may be required by facility, speciality or department.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
• Oversees and guides employees that are under his/her supervision.
