Job summary

The Valley Health System (VHS) is seeking an experienced registered nurse to join Summerlin Hospital in Las Vegas, NV. You will provide safe, competent nursing care, lead the healthcare team, and uphold patient-centered care standards in a busy hospital setting.

Requirements include RN license in Nevada, BLS, ACLS/PALS/NRP as required, and a BSN is preferred with acute care experience. This role supports graduate nurses and ongoing professional development within VHS and UHS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in the State of Nevada.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Current ACLS or PALS/NRP as required by department.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversees and guides employees under supervision; Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
