Job summary

The Valley Health System’s Summerlin Hospital in Las Vegas, NV is seeking an experienced registered nurse to lead nursing care in a busy acute setting. You will provide safe, competent patient care and support the healthcare team in delivering service excellence.

Requirements include a Nevada RN license and BLS; BSN preferred; 1 year FT or 3 years PT acute care experience; PALS or NRP as required by department; and completion of any pre-employment assessments.

Qualifications

• Education: BSN preferred.
• Experience: 1 year FT or 3 years PT in acute care preferred.
• License: Nevada RN license; BLS; PALS or NRP as required by department.
• Other: Pre-employment assessments may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care in accordance with facility policies and philosophy.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversee and guide employees under supervision; uphold Service Excellence standards.
