Job summary

The Valley Health System is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join Summerlin Hospital’s team in Las Vegas, NV. This role emphasizes safe patient care, clinical leadership, and a commitment to service excellence across the healthcare team.

Ideal candidates will hold an active Nevada RN license, BSN (preferred), and meet department requirements for BLS, PALS/NRP as applicable. Pre-employment assessments are required and the position is on-site with available growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of Nevada.
• Current BLS Certification, Current PALS Certification (pediatric patients) or current NRP Certification (neonatal patients) as required by department.
• Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversees and guides employees that are under his/her supervision.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
