Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Acute Care Telemetry Unit (8 East) at the Main Campus in Cleveland, OH. The shift is 7a-7p with rotating weekends and holidays.

A sign-on bonus up to $10,000 is available for qualifying experience. The ideal candidate will perform cardiac monitoring, IV insertions, blood draws, Foley care, wound care, and provide safe, evidence-based patient care while coordinating with LPNs, PCNAs, and providers.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or pursuing accreditation).
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in Ohio.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification.
• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience.
• PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care on telemetry unit (8 East).
• Perform cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation.
• Administer IVs, blood draws, and Foley catheter care.
• Collaborate with LPNs, PCNAs, and providers.
• Ensure patient safety and timely patient interventions.

Required Qualifications:
