Job summary

The MetroHealth System invites qualified RNs to join the Acute Care Adult Telemetry Unit (9 West) at the MetroHealth Main Campus in Cleveland. You will perform telemetry monitoring, IV insertions, wound care and central line care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Must have Ohio RN licensure and BLS; PRN position requires 1 year RN experience and current certifications. Enjoy MetroHealth benefits and a chance to advance in a Level One Trauma Center environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current RN licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider.
• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience.
• PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide telemetry monitoring and bedside nursing on 9 West.
• Perform cardiac monitoring and central line dressing changes.
• Manage wounds, drains and IV insertions.
• Demonstrate time management, critical thinking and effective delegation.

Shift: 7p-7a; Rotating weekends, Rotating holidays

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation).
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio
