Cedar Ridge Behavioral Hospital, a UHS facility in Oklahoma City, is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive psychiatric care for adults and youth. The role involves assessments, treatment implementation, documentation, and supervision of staff.

Ideal candidates will have a valid Oklahoma RN license, a nursing program credential, and at least 1 year of psychiatric experience. A sign-on bonus up to $15,000 is available for full-time hires.

Qualifications

• Valid Oklahoma RN license required.
• CPR certification preferred.

• Ability to push, pull and lift up to 40 pounds.

The Registered Nurse (RN), under the supervision of the Chief Nursing Officer, provides physical assessments of residents, implements resident's treatment plan, evaluates response to treatment, provides complete documentation, performs physical restraint assessments, administers medications as prescribed and provides health care education for residents and families. The RN supervises the daily duties of the Mental Health Techs and LPN staff, and assures that all residents are maintained in a safe environment. Performs duties in accordance with the ANA Standards of Practice for Psychiatric Mental Health Care, and facility mission, values, policies, and behavioral standards.
