Job summary

Cedar Ridge Behavioral Hospital, part of UHS, seeks an Admissions Clinician to perform telephonic and in-person risk assessments and crisis intervention. You will initiate contact with referrals and potential patients, coordinate intake, determine level of care, and manage the admission process while keeping lines of communication open with families, patients, and unit staff.

Ideal candidates have RN or a master's in Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work, with BSN licensure eligibility for

Qualifications

• Prior intake, assessment, admission and crisis intervention experience with a psychiatric mental health population; inpatient setting preferred.
• RN or Masters Degree in Counseling, Psychology or Social Work required.
• BSN or licensure/license eligible for LCSW, LPC, or LMFT preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Successfully complete a drug test.
• Successfully pass national background check.
• Strong computer skills and excellent communication skills.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Exposure to psychiatric patients who may exhibit violent/aggressive behavior.
