Job summary

• ACLS certification or within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care within assigned unit.
• Coordinate care planning with other disciplines.
• Adhere to hospital policies, ANA standards of practice, and nursing code of ethics.
• Ensure safe, timely and accurate medication and IV administration and transcription.
• Document accurately and timely according to policy.
• Mentor and precept new employees and support professional development.
• Communicate effectively during patient hand-offs.
• Identify patient priorities and discharge planning needs.
