Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health's Exeter Hospital in Exeter, NH is seeking a qualified registered nurse to deliver professional care on the unit. You will coordinate care with other disciplines and ensure evidence-based practice is followed.

Reporting to the Nurse Manager/Director, you will administer medications and IVs, perform assessments, document care, and mentor less experienced staff while promoting patient safety and education. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible hires.

Qualifications

• RN license – NH state or any other compact state.
• Minimum 1-year PACU or critical care experience preferred.
• BCLS certified or within 30 days of hire.
• CPAN or CAPA certification preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital policies, ANA standards of practice and nursing code of ethics.
• Performs safe, timely and accurate medication and IV administration and transcription.
• Documents accurately, timely and concisely in line with policy.
• Precepts new employees and supports their professional development.
• Communicates effectively during patient hand-offs and plans care.
• Assists in discharge planning and patient education.
