The University of Miami UHealth at SoLé Mia, opening in September 2025 in North Miami and Aventura, offers high-quality academic medicine with a team of expert physicians and staff across various specialties, including the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, Desai Sethi Urology Institute, and top-ranked neurology and neurosurgery programs.

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse 2 - Specialty to join our team. This role involves assessing patients, developing and modifying care plans, administering medications, and providing compassionate support, all within regulatory guidelines.

Core Responsibilities:

1. Assess patients and document nursing care, symptoms, and vital signs.
2. Adjust treatment plans based on patient responses and physician instructions.
3. Evaluate diagnostic tests and report findings.
4. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to plan and evaluate patient care.
5. Prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
6. Provide culturally sensitive care and information to patients.
7. Offer psychological support to foster a compassionate environment.
8. Perform tests and administer medications safely.
9. Maintain accurate medication and treatment records.
10. Communicate care plans effectively to patients, families, and team members, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other regulations.
11. Assist in discharge planning using available resources.
12. Prioritize and adjust workload to ensure quality care; seek assistance when needed.
