Job summary

Parkview Senior Living is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) who is passionate about delivering exceptional care and improving residents' lives. You will administer medications, follow physician orders, and collaborate with a caring team to ensure safe, patient-centered care.

You will assess residents, supervise CNAs, and coordinate with families on care plans and admissions. Iowa RN licensure and CPR certification are required; weekend and holiday availability is encouraged to meet resident needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state-approved nursing program.
• Current Iowa RN license.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Direct Care: Administer medications, treatments, and physician orders, and take full responsibility for resident care.
• Collaborate and Communicate: Work closely with physicians, supervisors, and families to ensure the best care for residents.
• Assessment & Supervision: Complete resident assessments and supervise CNAs in gathering data.
• Workforce Coordination: Partner with the Director of Nursing to manage special care needs, transfers, and staffing workload.
• Admissions & Family Involvement: Plan for resident admissions, involving families in the care process.
• Comfort & Support: Provide emotional and physical comfort to residents and families.
• Leadership: Supervise CNAs, supporting their development and ensuring top-quality care.

• Leadership: Supervise and guide Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), supporting their development and ensuring top-quality care.

What You Need to Succeed
