New York Health (NYH) is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Urology team in Riverhead/Port Jefferson Station. The role involves creating individualized care plans, monitoring vitals, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support patient wellbeing.

You will assist physicians, manage medications and injections, sterilize instruments, and provide discharge instructions. NYH offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Competenze

• Valid New York State RN License.

• Proficiency with an EMR (preferred).

Registered Nurse - Urology

Location:Riverhead / Port Jefferson Station

Hours/Days: 5 8.5 hour shifts Mon-Fri 7am-6pm

In this role, you will:

• Watch and record the patient’s progress on a constant basis
• Chart the patient’s response to treatment and medication.
• Complete MAR after treatment.
• Provide the patient with discharge instructions that are specific to the patient as well as emergency numbers after care.

We require:

• Valid New York State RN License
• Excellent assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with an EMR (preferred)
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk working on a computer, standing, bending and reaching
• Frequent exposure to chemicals, bloodborne pathogens, and patient bodily fluids.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
• Reliable transportation to travel to NYH locations for patient care needs

• Salary: Starting at $48 Based on Location per hour based on experience
