Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department in Riverdale, GA. This full-time night shift role offers a 12-week assignment with weekly pay, and the opportunity to work with award-winning hospital partners across the nation.

You will provide direct patient care, monitor patients, administer medications, and coordinate with the care team in a fast-paced ED environment. A valid RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS/ENPC, and 1 year ER experience are required.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS certificate upon hire and maintain.
• ACLS certificate required upon hire and maintain.
• PALS and/or ENPC certificate required upon hire and maintain.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation required upon hire.
• Minimum of one year ER staff nurse experience in acute care hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department during night shift, including triage, assessment, monitoring, and interventions.
• Monitor patient condition, vital signs, and telemetry; respond rapidly to changes.
• Communicate patient status, diagnostic results, and treatment plans with physicians and the care team.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and emergency interventions per orders and protocols.
• Supervise and coordinate LVNs/LPNs and nursing assistants as needed.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
• Ensure EMTALA compliance and report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.
• Participate in emergency response, trauma resuscitation, and critical care stabilization.
• Support patient safety initiatives and evidence-based emergency nursing practices.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

Minimum of one year experience as a staff nurse RN in an acute care hospital setting; E.R. setting required.

Pay Transparency

Premiere Healthcare Staffing offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $37.55 to $50.69. This compensation estimate is specific to Maine and has not been adjusted for any other geographic location. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
