Job summary

Varco Home Health, Hospice and Homecare is seeking PRN registered nurses to provide one-on-one in-home care in Red Oak, TX and surrounding areas. You’ll enjoy a flexible, self-managed schedule and autonomy while delivering meaningful, patient-centered care directly in patients’ homes.

Ideal candidates are Texas-licensed RNs with home health or acute care experience, strong clinical judgment, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Active Texas RN license required.
• Home health or acute care experience preferred.
• Excellent clinical judgment and adaptability.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Kinnser/WellSky experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-home patient assessments.
• Develop and follow individualized care plans.
• Provide skilled nursing care (wound care, meds, catheter care, chronic disease management).
• Educate patients and caregivers on home care and safety.
• Monitor patient progress and update care plans.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation.
