Front Porch in Oakland, CA seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to coordinate, supervise, and direct CNAs and LVN Charge Nurses on a night shift. You will ensure resident needs are met in line with Federal and State regulations and company policy.

You will perform patient assessments, plan of care evaluations, and supervise nursing interventions, while maintaining documentation and inventory, and ensuring safety and quality in daily operations.

Qualifikationen

• California RN license required
• First Aid and CPR certifications required
• Bachelor's Degree required
• 0 Year with knowledge of State and Federal regulations
• 0 Year long term care, geriatric and/or rehabilitative nurse

• Assists LVN and CNA staff with their duties as needed.
• Reviews referrals in the absence of admissions or the Director of Nursing.
• Coordinates and performs needed treatments, medications or other nursing interventions as indicated by the patient plan of care or as ordered by the physician.
• Maintains required documentation per Federal, State and Company Policy.
• Maintains inventory of medical supplies and medications; ensures patient rights.
• Arrives on time in proper uniform with nametag visible.
• Follows safety protocols and health codes in handling foodstuffs.
• Attends mandatory in-service meetings; complies with policies and procedures.

Summary

Under the direction of Director of Nursing Services, is responsible for the coordination, supervision and directing the work of the CNAs and LVN Charge Nurse(s). Ensures that resident needs are met according to Federal and State regulations and Company Policy.

Detailed Responsibilities

• * Registered Nurse
• Provides quality Customer Service efficiently to residents, families, co-workers and vendors in a manner to ensure satisfaction
• Responsible for reviewing referrals in the absence of admissions or the Director of Nursing
• Coordinates and performs patient assessments and plan of care evaluations
• Assists LVN and CNA staff with their duties as needed
• Coordinates and performs needed treatments, medications or other nursing interventions as indicated by the patient plan of care or as ordered by the physicianEnsures all needed emergency measures are followed as per Care Center and company Policy and within standards of nursing practice
• Maintains required documentation as per Federal, State and Company Policy
• Maintains inventory of medical supplies and medications to meet patient needs Ensures that all patient rights are protected
• Arrives to work on time, in proper clean uniform, good personal hygiene and with nametag visible
• Follows highest standards of cleanliness Follows all Federal, State and company policies, health codes and guidelines in preparation and handling of foodstuffs
• Performs all duties in a safe and efficient manner Wears safety equipment as required for the job Reports any safety hazards and/or accidents to supervisor
• Attends all mandatory in-service meetings Complies with all department and facilities policies and procedures
