Job summary

Premise Health Inc. in Maryville, TN seeks a Full Time Registered Nurse to care for client employees in our health center.

The role focuses on occupational health, emergency readiness, and patient evaluation, with a 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM schedule, Monday through Friday, with no weekends. You will perform tests, administer medications, maintain records, educate patients, and collaborate with the client and TPA to support safe return-to-work and injury prevention.

Qualifications

• RN license in state of practice is required.
• Experience in occupational health, ER, or urgent care settings.
• Certifications in BLS/ACLS may be required depending on contract scope.

Responsibilities

• Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements (OSHA, DOT, CDC).
• Evaluates, treats, and prioritizes patient care within scope.
• Delivers care to injured workers and coordinates return-to-work with TPA.
• Implements transitional duty programs for injured workers.
• Performs medical tests and screenings (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision).
• Administers medications and emergency care within scope.
• Maintains equipment, infection control, and patient health records.
• Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care.
• Collaborates with healthcare professionals and supports health programs.

As a Full Time Registered Nurse, you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in Maryville, TN.

What You’ll Do

• Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements related to clinical operations and manages required physical evaluations (OSHA, DOT, CDC, etc.)
• Evaluates, treats, and prioritizes patient care within the scope of practice
• Delivers evidence-based care to injured workers, accelerates return to work, and coordinates case management with the TPA and client
• Implements and monitors transitional duty programs for injured workers
• Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)
• Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care
• Collaborates with healthcare professionals and resources, and company departments on health programs and injury prevention
• Assists with accident investigations, return-to-work programs, and workplace safety initiatives
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or Associate degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferred
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required
• Certification in Occupational Health (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• At least three years’ experience as a Registered Nurse in an occupational health clinic, emergency room, or other ambulatory care clinic
• Experience in strategies to promote and maintain healthy, safe, and productive workplaces, including: partners to identify/mitigate workplace hazards, health screenings/education, fitness for duty, and return to work exams
