Job summary

Premise Health is seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse to provide skilled care for client employees at our Maryville, TN Health Center. The role focuses on occupational health, ER/urgent care experience, and certified BLS/ACLS where required.

You will perform clinical services, conduct screenings, coordinate return-to-work, and promote workplace wellness while ensuring compliance, patient safety, and accurate health records. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
• Certification in Occupational Health (COHN/COHN-S) or Case Management preferred
• Basic Life Support certification required; ACLS may be required by contract scope
• Minimum three years as RN in occupational health/ER/ambulatory care
• Experience promoting healthy, safe, productive workplaces

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for clinical operations and manage physical evaluations (OSHA, DOT, CDC)
• Evaluate, treat and prioritize patient care within scope of practice
• Provide care to injured workers and coordinate return-to-work with TPA and client
• Implement and monitor transitional duty programs for injured workers
• Perform and document medical tests and treatments (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)
• Administer medications and emergency care within legal scope
• Maintain equipment, ensure clean, safe environment and infection control
• Maintain patient health records and ensure accuracy
• Educate patients on health promotion and follow-up care
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and departments on health programs
• Assist with accident investigations, return-to-work and safety initiatives
• Perform other duties as assigned

What You’ll Do

• Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements related to clinical operations and manages required physical evaluations (OSHA, DOT, CDC, etc.)
• Evaluates, treats, and prioritizes patient care within the scope of practice
• Delivers evidence-based care to injured workers, accelerates return to work, and coordinates case management with the TPA and client
• Implements and monitors transitional duty programs for injured workers
• Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)
• Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care
• Collaborates with healthcare professionals and resources, and company departments on health programs and injury prevention
• Assists with accident investigations, return-to-work programs, and workplace safety initiatives
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or Associate degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferred
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required
• Certification in Occupational Health (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• At least three years’ experience as a Registered Nurse in an occupational health clinic, emergency room, or other ambulatory care clinic
• Experience in strategies to promote and maintain healthy, safe, and productive workplaces, including: partners to identify/mitigate workplace hazards, health screenings/education, fitness for duty, and return to work exams
