Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in accordance with clinical guidelines
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures while monitoring patient responses
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient information, progress notes, and care plans accurately in the EMR system
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition, escalating care as needed
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA, Joint Commission standards, and facility policies

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas (or compact license eligibility)
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ASN or BSN) from an accredited program
• Current BLS/CPR certification; ACLS preferred depending on specialty
• Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient advocacy skills
• Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, or holidays as required
