Job summary

Lake Wales Wellness & Rehabilitation Center is seeking an RN in Lake Wales, FL to join our care team. You’ll be responsible for managing nursing care for residents and coordinating with physicians when conditions change.

The role emphasizes supervising nurse aides, observing patient conditions, and maintaining confidentiality across verbal, written, and electronic communications. A compassionate, team-driven mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted Florida RN license
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Compassionate, reliable team player willing to join a care-driven environment

Responsibilities

• Manage the nursing care for all residents and delegate shift tasks to nurses.
• Supervise nurse aides as they complete their assignments.
• Observe residents’ conditions, oversee, and respond as necessary.
• Inform physicians of any changes in resident conditions.
• Communicate with patients, family members, and the interdisciplinary team about care plan changes.
• Maintain confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written and electronic communications.
