Wedgewood Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Lakeland, FL is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The RN will oversee nursing staff, ensure high-quality resident care, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support the health and well-being of our residents.

As a full-time RN, you will coordinate nursing assignments, provide mentorship, and respond to emergencies with appropriate interventions.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN license in Florida.
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in long-term care or related setting.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing staff and ensure residents receive care per care plans and state regulations.
• Coordinate and delegate nursing assignments based on staff qualifications and resident needs.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and ongoing education to nursing staff.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers, and other team members to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and medical situations, providing appropriate interventions.
• Perform additional duties to support resident care and facility operations.

Salary: Up to $40/hour, depending on experience
