Job summary

William Penn Care Center in Jeannette, PA is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our nursing team on a full-time basis with 12-hour shifts. A $4,000 sign-on bonus is offered and compensation is competitive based on experience.

Responsibilities include comprehensive resident care, medication administration, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to promote dignity and quality of life for residents.

Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania RN license in good standing
• Long-term care experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, leadership, and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented
• Ability to work every other weekend and holiday rotation

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized resident care
• Administer medications, treatments, and other nursing interventions
• Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes to physicians and the interdisciplinary care team
• Supervise and support Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and facility policies
• Provide compassionate, resident-centered care while promoting dignity and quality of life
• Serve as a leader and advocate for residents and their families
