Job summary

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN license to practice in Texas.
• Associate Degree in Nursing required.
• 2 years of Long-Term Care experience preferred.
• Six months of rehabilitative/restorative nursing experience preferred.
• Strong computer literacy and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with applicable laws and facility policies.
• Plan, implement, and direct the resident's plan of care per physician orders.
• Utilize facility policies, protect patient privacy, and maintain professional standards.
• Provide CPR and emergency support as needed.
• Develop daily work and unit assignments; assist nursing supervisors as required.
• Oversee nursing aides and ensure proper adherence to procedures.
