Job summary

Paradigm Healthcare is seeking compassionate RNs to join our team in Texas. You will provide direct nursing care and coordinate residents’ plans of care in accordance with physician orders and regulations.

Qualifications include an active Texas RN license and ADN; LTC and restorative care experience are preferred. Proficiency with Point Click Care and strong communication skills are required. We offer health benefits, PTO, and professional development support.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered RN license to practice in Texas.
• An Associate Degree in Nursing is required.
• 2 years’ experience in long-term care experience preferred.
• Six months’ experience in rehabilitative/restorative nursing preferred.
• Strong utilization knowledge of Point Click Care preferred.
• Computer literacy (Outlook, Office, Internet) and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with the nurse practice act, federal and state regulations, facility policies and procedures, and prudent nursing judgment.
• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the delivery of a resident’s plan of care in accordance with physician orders and guidelines.
• Be compliant with facility policies and privacy requirements for patients.
• Provide prompt emergency support measures, including CPR.
• Develop daily work assignments and unit assignments, and assist nursing supervisory staff as needed.
• Ensure nursing service personnel perform their work to acceptable standards.
• Oversee nurse aides and communicate with nursing staff to ensure policies and systems are maintained correctly.
