Job summary

Paradigm Healthcare in Bay City, TX is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to perform direct nursing care on the night shift in a long‑term care setting. You will follow physician orders and facility policies, assess patients, and contribute to care planning and evaluation.

You will guide and supervise nursing staff, ensure privacy and compliance with regulations, and respond to emergencies with CPR when needed. A state RN license and an ADN are required.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered RN license in the state.
• Associate degree in nursing required; experience in long-term care preferred.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with the nurse practice act and facility policies.
• Plan, develop, implement, and direct resident care plans with physician orders.
• Supervise nursing staff and oversee nurse aides to ensure policy compliance.
• Maintain patient privacy and ensure computer workstations are logged off when unattended.
• Provide emergency care, including CPR, when needed.
