Job summary

Greenbrier Village Health and Rehab in Enid, OK is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide compassionate geriatric care. You will follow physician orders, accurately record histories, and monitor patient conditions, communicating changes to physicians and supervisors as needed.

You will administer medications, wound care, and injections, while guiding staff to maintain high care standards for all residents, and you will interact with families to offer guidance and discharge instructions.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license required.
• Knowledge of geriatric care and regulatory guidelines.
• Ability to document care accurately and communicate with team.

Responsibilities

What Does the RN Do?

• Follow Physician orders and communicate accurate assessment data to maintain quality of care


• Record a patient’s medical history accurately


• Monitor/document patients’ change of condition, notify Physician and supervisor


• Administer injections, prescribed medications, enemas etc., clean and dress wounds and assist with other basic medical care tasks


• Provide monitoring/training of staff to maintain quality of care for ALL residents


• Communicate with patients’ family or friends to provide advice, comfort and release instructions

Nurses get to utilize many different clinical skills because we service geriatric patients who have needs of wound care, infection control management, IV’s, wound vacs, gastrostomy tubes, medication management, and more!

Job Requirements:

• Have a current state Registered Nurse License.
