Job summary

Stilwell Nursing and Rehab in Oklahoma is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide compassionate patient care to geriatric residents. You will follow physician orders, document medical histories, monitor changes, administer medications, and support wound care and infection control.

Qualifications

• Have a current state Registered Nurse License.
• Understand and follow State regulations as well as company policies and guidelines.
• Must pass criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Follow Physician orders and communicate accurate assessment data to maintain quality of care
• Record a patient’s medical history accurately
• Monitor/document patients’ change of condition, notify Physician and supervisor
• Administer injections, prescribed medications, enemas etc., clean and dress wounds and assist with other basic medical care tasks
• Provide monitoring/training of staff to maintain quality of care for ALL residents
• Communicate with patients’ family or friends to provide advice, comfort and release instructions
• Nurses get to utilize many different clinical skills because we service geriatric patients who have needs of wound care, infection control management, IV’s, wound vacs, gastrostomy tubes, medication management, and more!
