Job summary

The Clare in Chicago is seeking a compassionate RN for a Full-Time role in our Skilled Nursing Care Unit. Join a luxury residential community and provide outstanding care in a downtown Chicago setting.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, managing admissions/transfers/discharges, administering medications, and charting in compliance with standards. Weekend availability is required, and prior LTC experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current nursing license valid in Illinois.
• CPR certified.
• Greater than 2 years clinical experience preferred.
• One-year long term care preferred.
• Weekend availability REQUIRED.

Salary: $42.00-$43.00 per hour, plus overnight shift differential

Overnight RN: Block Schedule: 6:30pm to 7am, 3 days per week, rotating weekend schedule

Day Shift RN: 6:30am to 7:00pm, 3 days per week, rotating weekend schedule

If so, then The Clare, the only Continuing Care Retirement Community in the Gold Coast area, wants you! We are seeking to fill a Full-Time RN role in our Skilled Nursing Care Unit.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of an RN:

• Provides direct nursing care to the residents and supervises and coordinates the activities performed by the CNAs in order to ensure a high degree of quality care is maintained.


• Responsible for admissions, transfers, and discharges of residents.


• Administers medications and treatments and maintains proper charting for the unit all in accordance with federal, state and local standards and regulations and department policies and procedures.


• Maintains a high standard of resident care.


• Responds immediately to all crisis and/or calls for assistance.


• Assists in maintaining the facility’s and Nursing Service’s philosophy through quality nursing care.

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

• Current nursing license valid in Illinois
