Job summary

The Clare in Chicago, IL is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Skilled Nursing Care Unit as a full-time team member. The role features a 6:30am to 7:00pm shift, three days per week with rotating weekend coverage, and a competitive hourly salary of $42.00-$43.00.

As part of our luxury residential community, you will provide direct nursing care, supervise CNAs, and ensure adherence to all standards while maintaining a patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Current nursing license valid in Illinois.
• CPR certification required.
• Greater than 2 years clinical experience preferred.
• One-year long term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct nursing care to residents and supervises CNAs to ensure quality care.
• Responsible for admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Administers medications and treatments and maintains charting per regulations and policies.
• Maintains a high standard of resident care.
• Responds immediately to crises and calls for assistance.
• Supports the facility’s philosophy through quality nursing care.

If so, then The Clare, the only Continuing Care Retirement Community in the Gold Coast area, wants you! We are seeking to fill a Full-Time RN role in our Skilled Nursing Care Unit.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of an RN:

• Provides direct nursing care to the residents and supervises and coordinates the activities performed by the CNAs in order to ensure a high degree of quality care is maintained.
• Responsible for admissions, transfers, and discharges of residents.
• Administers medications and treatments and maintains proper charting for the unit all in accordance with federal, state and local standards and regulations and department policies and procedures.
• Maintains a high standard of resident care.
• Responds immediately to all crisis and/or calls for assistance.
• Assists in maintaining the facility’s and Nursing Service’s philosophy through qualitynursing care.

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:
