Job summary

The Clare, a luxury Continuing Care Retirement Community in the Gold Coast of Chicago, seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Skilled Nursing Care Unit in a full-time role. Shifts run 6:30am–7:00pm, 3 days a week with rotating weekend coverage.

Salary ranges from $42.00 to $43.00 per hour. You will deliver direct nursing care, supervise CNAs, coordinate admissions/transfers, administer medications, and ensure compliant charting and resident safety.

Qualifications

• Current nursing license valid in Illinois.
• CPR certified.
• Greater than 2 years clinical experience preferred.
• One-year long term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct nursing care to residents and supervises CNAs to ensure high-quality care.
• Responsible for admissions, transfers, and discharges of residents.
• Administers medications and treatments and maintains proper charting according to standards.
• Maintains a high standard of resident care.
• Responds immediately to crises or requests for assistance.
• Supports the facility's nursing philosophy through quality care.

If so, then The Clare, the only Continuing Care Retirement Community in the Gold Coast area, wants you! We are seeking to fill a Full-Time RN role in our Skilled Nursing Care Unit.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of an RN:

• Provides direct nursing care to the residents and supervises and coordinates the activities performed by the CNAs in order to ensure a high degree of quality care is maintained.
• Responsible for admissions, transfers, and discharges of residents.
• Administers medications and treatments and maintains proper charting for the unit all in accordance with federal, state and local standards and regulations and department policies and procedures.
• Maintains a high standard of resident care.
• Responds immediately to all crisis and/or calls for assistance.
• Assists in maintaining the facility's and Nursing Service's philosophy through qualitynursing care.

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

• Current nursing license valid in Illinois
