Job summary

The Clare in Chicago is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for our Skilled Nursing Care Unit. Shift: 6:30am to 7:00pm, 3 days per week with rotating weekend schedule. Salary: $42.00-$43.00 per hour.

We value compassionate, high-quality care and outstanding customer service. Responsibilities include supervising CNAs, admissions/transfers/discharges, administering medications and charting per regulations, and maintaining a high standard of resident care.

Qualifications

• Current nursing license valid in Illinois.
• CPR certified.
• Greater than 2 years clinical experience preferred.
• One-year long term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct nursing care to the residents and supervises and coordinates the activities performed by the CNAs in order to ensure a high degree of quality care is maintained.
• Responsible for admissions, transfers, and discharges of residents.
• Administers medications and treatments and maintains proper charting for the unit all in accordance with federal, state and local standards and regulations and department policies and procedures.
• Maintains a high standard of resident care.
• Responds immediately to all crisis and/or calls for assistance.
• Assists in maintaining the facility's and Nursing Service's philosophy through quality nursing care.
