Job summary

Wexford Health Sources, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Yavapai County Detention Centers in Camp Verde, AZ. You’ll lead and mentor care teams, assess health needs, and administer medications while guiding treatment plans from start to finish.

You will educate patients, make timely referrals, and help maintain safety and standards in the unit. Expect collaboration with corrections staff and a strong, compassionate approach to care.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted RN license in state of practice; 1–2 years nursing experience, correctional experience preferred.
• Active CPR certification.
• Strong clinical and communication skills; adaptability in high-pressure settings.
• Compassionate, nonjudgmental approach to patient care.

Responsibilities

You’ll play a key role in supporting patient education, making timely referrals, and helping maintain safety and standards across the unit.
