Wexford Health Sources, Inc. seeks a Registered Nurse for Jail East in Memphis, TN. The Day Shift (6a-6:30p) offers hands-on nursing with opportunities to mentor staff and lead clinical care for justice-involved patients.

You'll assess needs, administer medications, guide treatment plans, educate patients, and coordinate referrals, while helping maintain safety and high standards in a busy facility. A strong benefits package supports ongoing growth.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted RN license in state of practice.
• Active CPR certification.
• 1-2 years nursing experience (correctional experience preferred).
• Strong clinical and communication skills; adaptability in high-pressure settings.
• Compassionate, nonjudgmental approach to patient care.

Responsibilities

Working closely with healthcare and correctional staff, you'll assess physical/mental health needs, administer medications, and guide treatment plans from start to finish. You'll play a key role in supporting patient education, making timely referrals, and helping maintain safety and standards across the unit. Whether you're managing medications, mentoring staff, or responding to a crisis, your skills will make a real impact every day.
