Job summary

Brooke Knoll Village in Avon, IN seeks Licensed Nurses to oversee nursing staff and deliver resident care according to physician orders and facility policies. You will supervise personnel, manage the unit’s total care, and update care plans for residents in your unit.

Applicants must hold Indiana licensure in good standing, have LTC experience if possible, and demonstrate professionalism, confidentiality, and reliability in a demanding long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and hold a current license by the State of Indiana in good standing.
• Prefer at least one year’s experience in Long Term Care or related field.
• Must display good emotional health and be capable of extended periods of standing, bending and heavy lifting.
• Ability to maintain professional attitude, including confidentiality and conscientious use of time.

Responsibilities

• Supervise/manage personnel on the unit.
• Be responsible for total care of all residents on the unit and supervise direct care staff.
• Review daily assignments of nursing staff to ensure duties align with training.
• Initiate and update the nursing care plan for residents on the unit.

About the Role:

Brooke Knoll Village is seeking Licensed Nurses-

• To supervise/manage personnel on his/her unit
• That will be responsible for total care of all residents on his/her unit and supervision of direct care staff to ensure residents’ needs are met.
• To review daily assignments of nursing staff on the unit to assure that assigned duties are consistent with ability and training.
• That can initiate and update the nursing care plan for residents on the unit.
