Job summary

Adept Nursing & Rehab of Ashland is hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) for all shifts in our skilled nursing facility. Shifts available: Days 6a-6p and Nights 6p-6a.

RNs will oversee nursing staff, ensure high-quality resident care, and coordinate with physicians and caregivers to meet medical and personal needs. Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Strong clinical knowledge and excellent decision-making skills.

• Ability to lead and supervise a team of nursing staff.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and handle sensitive information confidentially.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans for residents.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and document residents' health status, vital signs, symptoms, and progress.
• Supervise and support a team of LPNs and CNAs to deliver optimal care.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate resident care.
• Educate residents and their families on health management, conditions, and treatments.
• Ensure adherence to all state, federal, and facility-specific regulations and standards.
• Respond to emergencies, assess situations, and provide critical care as needed.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and contribute to the facility’s continuous improvement efforts.
