Job summary

Adept Nursing & Rehab of Ashland is hiring licensed practical nurses (LPNs) for all shifts (Days 6a-6p, Nights 6p-6a) to join our compassionate care team in Ashland, Nebraska.

As an LPN you will administer medications, monitor residents, and support individualized care plans alongside RNs, CNAs, and physicians in a supportive, patient-centered environment with strong leadership and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• LPN license required.
• Compassionate, patient-focused, and committed to providing high-quality care.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and handle sensitive information confidentially.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and document residents' health conditions, including vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatments.
• Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
• Provide nursing care for residents, including wound care, catheter care, and assistance with daily living activities.
• Collaborate with physicians, RNs, and other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
• Educate residents and their families about health management and procedures.
• Ensure that all care is delivered in accordance with regulatory and facility guidelines.
• Respond to emergencies and provide critical care when necessary.
• Assist with training and supervising nursing assistants (CNA).
