Job summary

Preferred Care at Absecon is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team in Absecon, NJ. The RN will admit new residents, assist physicians during rounds, delegate tasks to support staff, monitor resident care, and perform regular health assessments to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus, paid training, and flexible scheduling within a supportive facility that values teamwork and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Registered Nursing License is required.
• Long Term Care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Admitting new residents.
• Assist physicians during rounds in residents’ rooms.
• Assign and delegate duties to non-licensed nursing staff.
• Monitor resident care and supervise nursing staff.
• Perform ongoing assessments of residents’ health (physical and mental).
• Explain procedures and treatment plans to residents.
