REGISTERED NUCLEAR MEDICINE TECHNOLOGIST

This position involves providing quality patient care through nuclear medicine imaging procedures, handling radiopharmaceuticals, and ensuring radiation safety. Responsibilities include preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, performing quality control, operating imaging equipment, and overseeing patient scheduling in the absence of a supervisor.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals and prescribed doses.
• Process and analyze images for interpretation.
• Follow radiation safety protocols.
• Handle radioactive materials properly.

Education & Experience Requirements:

• Associates degree required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Completion of an approved Nuclear Medicine program meeting ARRT or NMTCB certification requirements.
• Licensed by the State of New York.
• CT Certification (ARRT or NMTCB).
