Registered MRI Technologist, Second Shift, Radiology Department

UC Health is hiring a full-time Registered MRI Technologist for the radiology department for Second shift at University of Cincinnati Medical Center. We are offering up to an $8,000 sign-on bonus!

The Registered MRI Technologist will support the University of Cincinnati Medical Center's Radiology Department by performing all aspects of magnetic resonance imaging according to established protocols. This includes reviewing the appropriateness and completeness of patient histories and requests for services.

Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Completion of a JRCERT-approved program in Radiologic Technology or an Associate degree in Radiologic, Nuclear, or Sonographic Technology
  • 1 year of experience preferred
  • Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or have equivalent certifications, ARRT-MR licensure is required.
  • Current CPR certification by the American Heart Association
  • Current BLS certification for Healthcare workers

  • Reviews and administers medications according to physician direction and provides continuous care to patients after completed procedures.
  • Prepares and administers contrast media or medications orally and by intravenous injection.
  • Administers or assists in administering CPR or other emergency procedures as needed.
  • Maintains appropriate records and supplies, participates in quality control, and evaluates department, equipment, and performance for areas of improvement.
