Westminster Canterbury of Lynchburg Inc., a 5-Star Continuing Care Retirement Community in Central VA, seeks a Registered Medication Aide & CNA for a full-time role with a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities include vital signs, transporting residents, and administering medications under supervision in Memory Support and Assisted Living units. Requires VA CNA license and Registered Medication Aide license.

Qualifications

• Valid VA State CNA license is required.
• Valid Registered Medication Aide license is required.
• Two to three years of experience working with dementia patients preferred.
• Influenza vaccine is required; COVID-19 vaccine recommended.

Responsabilités

• Take and record vital signs and promptly report abnormal resident conditions to the charge nurse.
• Escort/transport residents to various facility locations.
• Administer medications to residents under supervision of a licensed nurse or pharmacist.
• Administers prescribed medications (oral, topical, and insulin injections) as scheduled.
• Notify charge nurse of residents requiring injections.
