Full-Time Registered Medication Aide & CNA (7P-7A)

Westminster Canterbury of Lynchburg, a 5‑Star rated Continuing Care Retirement Community in Central VA, is seeking a Registered Medication Aide & CNA to join our team. This full‑time position (7P‑7A) offers a comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Time Off, and a 403(b) plan with match.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of resident care tasks in the Memory Support and Assisted Living Unit under the direction of the Administrator.
• Take and record vital signs and promptly report abnormal resident conditions to the charge nurse.
• Escort or transport residents to various facility locations.
• Administer medications—oral, topical, and insulin injections—under the supervision of a licensed nurse or pharmacist.
• Notify the charge nurse of residents requiring injections.

Qualifications

• Valid Virginia State CNA license is required.
• Registered Medication Aide license preferred to administer medication.
• Two to three years of experience working with dementia patients.
• All team members must receive influenza vaccination and recommended COVID‑19 vaccines.
