Westminster Canterbury of Lynchburg, a 5-star Continuing Care Retirement Community in Central VA, is seeking a Registered Medication Aide & CNA to join our team. This full-time night-shift (7P-7A) role offers a complete benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, and a 403B with match.

You will perform resident care tasks in Memory Support and Assisted Living units under the Administrator’s direction, taking vital signs, transporting residents, and administering medications under

Qualifications

• VA state CNA license is required.
• Registered Medication Aide license is required to administer medication.
• 2–3 years of experience with dementia patients preferred.

Responsabilités

• Take and record vital signs; promptly report abnormal resident conditions to the charge nurse.
• Escort/transport residents to facility locations.
• Administer medications to residents under supervision of a licensed nurse or pharmacist.
• Administer prescribed medications (oral, topical, and insulin injections) as scheduled on assigned units and shifts.
• Notify the charge nurse of residents requiring injections.
