Westminster Canterbury of Lynchburg, a 5-star Continuing Care Retirement Community in Central VA, is seeking a Registered Medication Aide & CNA to join our team. • VA state CNA license is required.

• 2–3 years of experience with dementia patients preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take and record vital signs; promptly report abnormal resident conditions to the charge nurse.
• Escort/transport residents to facility locations.
• Administer medications to residents under supervision of a licensed nurse or pharmacist.
• Administer prescribed medications (oral, topical, and insulin injections) as scheduled on assigned units and shifts.
• Notify the charge nurse of residents requiring injections.
