Virginia Mason Hematology and Oncology is seeking a Medical Assistant Registered in our ambulatory clinic. The Medical Assistant Registered is responsible for assisting the medical and nursing staff by performing clerical and clinical support tasks as directed. Responsibilities include coordinating schedules for patients and providers, and other clinical tasks that support our providers in patient care.
Additional responsibilities include patient flow, rooming and taking medical histories. Our Medical Assistant Registered contributes to the strength of our Team Medicine approach to collaborative medicine and benefits from the changes enacted through our Virginia Mason Production System, a model that has transformed health care by providing patients with easier access to care, reducing errors, and continuously innovating patient safety and quality that has been adopted by other organizations here and abroad.
