** Please note, this position will primarily work in the Cardiovascular Testing Lab (90%) with cross training in the adjoining Cardiovascular Clinic (10%).
The Cardiovascular Medical Assistant provides technical support and assists medical and nursing staff for diagnostic, non-invasive cardiac testing (e.g., treadmill tests, ECGs, Holter scans) for inpatient and ambulatory populations. Provides ECG management for VM and contractual business.

We require:
- High School diploma or GED
- 6 months experience in a medical office/clinic or graduation from an accredited Medical Administrative Assistant, Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant Program.
- Ability to obtain Medical Assistant Registered (MA-R) through the State of Washington, sponsored by Virginia Mason.
- Medical Assistant Registered (MA-R) through the State of Washington, sponsored by Virginia Mason, required within 60 days of hire
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Professional demeanor with a positive, upbeat attitude, strong communication skills
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal communications.
- Detail oriented with ability to multi-task. Capable to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from administrative and clinical staff, leaders, patients and physicians
Preferred:- Associates degree or equivalent
