Job Details

Location: Atlanta, GA

Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 per year (based on experience)

Responsibilities

1. Perform land and construction surveying using conventional and GPS methods.
2. Manage projects and participate in pre-survey planning meetings.
3. Assist with all phases of facilities design, construction, and modification projects, including research and record-keeping.
4. Coordinate with government clients on surveying and construction requirements.
5. Design civil site plans, especially in MicroStation CAD.
6. Act as Party Chief for survey crews when necessary.

Requirements

• Registered Land Surveyor (RLS) or Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) in Georgia.
• 3-5+ years of land surveying experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, Terramodel, and survey software.
• Knowledge of land surveying principles and practices in Georgia.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to work outdoors and indoors, including physical tasks at construction sites.
• Good communication skills.
